FLOATING RAMPS
Reliable floating ramps engineered for seamless adaptability, stability, and durability in all water conditions
Wood-Framed Ramps
NyDock floating ramps are an essential feature of every NyDock system, designed to seamlessly adapt to changing water levels throughout the seasons. Unlike fixed crib docks, which can be too high to safely use during low water levels or prone to damage during floods, NyDock’s floating ramps keep your dock at the perfect height—no matter the conditions on your waterway.

Our ramps are hinged at both ends to create a sturdy, stable connection between the shore and your floating dock. Each ramp also includes a lifetime-warrantied NyDock pontoon at the end. This innovative design prevents the weight of the ramp from sinking the dock’s edge, enhancing overall stability as you step aboard. It also simplifies disconnection, with the pontoon carrying the weight so you don’t have to.
Built to last, our traditional wood-framed ramps are constructed with premium materials:
- Framing: Assembled with 3.5” #10 GRK screws for unparalleled strength.
- Decking: Made with the highest-quality lumber available.
- Hinges: Secured with 32 galvanized steel carriage bolts through double headers at each end and finished with durable 8” fascia.
NyDock floating ramps also feature our in-house-designed Premium Quiet Hinges as a standard inclusion. These hinges eliminate the metal-on-metal clinking of traditional designs, offering a quieter, more enjoyable dock experience.
Choose NyDock Floating Ramps for a robust, reliable, and practical solution to seasonal water level changes, backed by NyDock’s commitment to quality and innovation.
