Project Goal
The primary goal of the project was to design a dock that could safely and conveniently accommodate two large boats while adapting to fluctuating water levels. Traditional fixed docks were not suitable, so a floating dock with pile anchoring was selected. Piles, combined with Sea Power Marine pile guides, were essential to ensure stability, prevent lateral movement, and allow the dock to rise and fall naturally with the river throughout the seasons.
Our Process
NyDock designed and installed a floating dock system tailored to the customer’s needs. The floating dock was built large enough to safely and conveniently dock two large boats, providing both functionality and plenty of usable space. To anchor the dock, piles were driven into the riverbed and fitted with pile guides from Sea Power Marine Products. This combination allowed the dock to rise and fall naturally with water level changes while maintaining lateral stability.
By combining NyDock’s durable floating dock system with pile anchoring, the project delivered the best of both worlds: a dock that feels solid underfoot yet adapts seamlessly to changing river conditions
