I am sharing and email that I received today from a happy customer and a unique project.
Not the greatest photo of my craft but I wanted to pass along with it that my 'barge' is running really well with the 'pipes' under it............runs faster, is higher out of the water and carries more load than on the steel pontoons. This is taken on the beach at the historical site of the former Hudson Bay's trading post at Fort William, Quebec on the Ottawa River.
Going to work each day, or coming back to port, many pictures get taken and many questions get asked about "plastic pontoons".........wwwhhhaaaattt?
Really glad I made your acquaintance when I decided to part with the steel pontoons that were formerly on it.......and the solution for attaching plastic that expands in the sun heat to the steel frames has worked out very well. Also, no more time-consuming labor-intensive scrapping and painting steel pontoons and losing a week each spring prepping to go on the water.
Very happy with your product's performance in my application. Year 3........off to the river.......
